How Would I add a Youtube Video to my site.

by Peter

Been going through the forums at SBI trying to figure out how to add a You Tube Video. Actually been doing this for months w/o success. Just got to the point where I was fed up with it and was going to use a different PPb forum system which makes adding a video a snap. 20 seconds verses these months of pain and frustration. But the PPb Free Forums don't have good selling potential or ranking ability so I'm still fighting on with a bit of a last hope... and reaching out to Mr. Video.

Any ideas! Do appreciate your time and have enjoyed going over your site! Thank You!

Best Regards,

Hi Peter, YouTube is great for adding promotional videos to, in order to drive traffic to your website, or buy your product/service, but not the best option for adding videos to your own website.

Sure, it's free, but as I'm sure you know, there is no such thing as a free lunch ;-)

Having the YouTube logo splashed all over your site, and having no control over video quality, preview image, logo, redirect link etc. is a big 'No No' for me and the fact remains it just doesn't look professional.

But the biggest problem with using a YouTube video on your website is the YouTube Video Player is one big hot link back to the main YouTube site.

If your hard earned visitor clicks anywhere on the video when it is playing (or on the YT logo when it is not), then they are instantly redirected to the YouTube site.

Bye bye visitor.

As a business, losing your visitors isn't a great plan.

Click on the 'add video to your site' link in the left hand column to find out how east it is to add your own video with your own player and logo, and preview image, and redirect link, and...well, you get the idea.

And if you want to do all that, but no lift a finger yourself, then the easiest and quickest way to add professional looking videos to your website is to use SBITUBE.

SBITUBE does it all for you. Just upload your video, copy the HTML code provided, paste it on your website and you're done!

They even have a 30 day free trial to try it out. Prices start from 1c per video per day, so it's a small amount of money to pay for the HUGE convenience it offers.

Check it out at SBITUBE

But if you are still determined to add a YouTube video to your website, then all you have to do is copy the embed code provided to the right of any YouTube video and paste it into a SBI! text block in Blockbuilder where you want it to be.

You can't always see the video in the SBI! preview page, so you must build it first to see it.

Hope that helps and best of luck.

Regards,

Mr Video
