No Sonys mentioned in your recommended Camcorders

You recommend using Sony editing equipment for videos, but no mention of Sony camcorders.

I've been very happy with a Sony camera, and was thinking of going Sony, esp as they are offering $100 rebate at the moment.

Do you not like Sony?

Does one need the extra cost of a hard drive?

Hi Barrie,

It's not that I don't like Sony camcorders, it's just that the camcorders I recommend are better, and I only recommend the best camcorder for the job, irrespective of the manufacturer.

When Sony brings out a camcorder offering the same features as similar models currently being produced by Canon and Panasonic, I'll happily recommend them ;-)

For HD video, you will need at least a dual core processor (Quad core is best) with 4GB RAM and 500GB hard drive depending on how much video work you will be doing (I personally have 3 X 2TB hard drives!).

Hope that helps?

Mr Video :-)
